TECH POSTING – Lighting Designer

Actors Theatre of Indiana is currently seeking Lighting Designers for our 2017-2018 productions of (A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING: 1st REH: 10/10/17; Load-In Begins:10-27-17; Runs: 11/3/17 through 11/19/17. A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD: 1st REH: 11/14/17; Load-In begins: 11-20-17, Runs: 11/25/17 through 12/1/17.  COMPLETELY CHRISTMAS (cabaret): Load-In : 12/5/17 opens 12/7/17 closes 12/10/17 and AN EVENING WITH LILLIAN BAXTER (cabaret): Load-In: 3/7/18 opens 3/9/18 closes 3/10/18 presented at The Studio Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts. The LD designs and implements individual production designs and must communicate plot and implementation plan effectively to the master electrician. Experience with ETC ELEMENT programming, troubleshooting, and working within schedule and budget parameters necessary. Managing personnel safety and upholding safety protocols.  This is a paid position which begins late summer.

TECH POSTING – Properties Master

Actors Theatre of Indiana is currently seeking a Properties Master to join our production team for our 2017-2018 season (“La Cage Aux Folles”, A Grand Night For Singing”, “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, and “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”) presented at The Studio Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts. Availability for any and all of the shows will be considered.  Candidate must have strong organizational, supervisory, communication and computer skills.  The Properties Master must meet production deadlines, work within budgets, design, build and/or find properties, maintain receipts, work closely with directors, designers and technical director and be an experienced artisan, with a knowledge of upholstery, sewing, painting and varied carpentry and props construction skills.  An important aspect of job description is creative set dressing talent, knowledge of style and period, as well as, maintaining and nurturing relationships with vendors.  This is a paid position. Local hires preferred.

TECH POSTING – Sound Designer / A2 (can be split into 2 positions)

Actors Theatre of Indiana is currently seeking a Sound Designer to join our production team for our 2017-2018 season (“La Cage Aux Folles”, A Grand Night For Singing”, “A Year with Frog & Toad”, “Completely Christmas”, “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”, “An Evening with Lillian Baxter”, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and “Million Dollar Quartet”) presented at The Studio Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts. Availability for any and all of the shows will be considered.  This position is responsible for design and implementation of sound designs for ATI’s main stage productions for its 2017-2018 season and must communicate plot and implementation plan effectively to the sound board operator. Experience with multi-track recording, mixing and mastering using QLab operation and DigiCo audio equipment, troubleshooting, knowledge of sound reinforcement systems, provides support to the creative team for productions during the tech process and strike, works within schedule and budget parameters, procuring, renting or purchasing equipment and expendables, possible upkeep, repairs of ATI sound; managing personnel safety and upholding safety protocols.  For the A2 position – experience with video creation and operation a plus. This is a paid position. Local hires preferred.
