THE ANDREWS BROTHERS

November 6 – 22, 2015

You asked for an ENCORE of this production and here it is!

Mistaken identities, madcap comedy, romance and over 25 musical treasures made famous by THE ANDREWS SISTERS fill this sweet show, a re-creation of a USO show for the troops during World War II. It’s 1943 in the South Pacific and a flu outbreak has THE ANDREWS SISTERS under quarantine. It’s up to three earnest and determined stagehands, along with pin-up girl Peggy Jones, to hatch a plan to save the day. Imagine Bing Crosby and Bob Hope in a road movie of Some Like It Hot—along with the music of an entire generation—in this wonderful valentine to the heroes of World War II.

Featuring the songs, On a Slow Boat to China, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree and many more!

Written by Rodger Bean, THE ANDREWS BROTHERS is a nonstop cavalcade of musical memories from the 1940’s. Among Bean’s theatrical stage shows are “Route 66”, “Honky Tonk Laundry”, “The Marvelous Wonderettes”, and “Why Do Fools Fall In Love?” THE ANDREWS BROTHERS  is a fun-filled show, sure to please audiences of all ages.
